7/28/07: Desert Waves Night Adventure Race - Lake Mead, NV
We're excited about this night race - a paddle-n-tie, swimming o-course and mountain bike rogaine! We start at 5 pm Saturday and finish up at 9 am on Sunday.
8/11/07: Big Blue Kit Carson 24 Hour Adventure Race - Lake Tahoe, NV
Our first Big Blue Adventure Race Series race will be an exciting 24-hour race in the Sierras. With 15+ miles of kayaking on Lake Tahoe, 45+ miles of mountain biking with 10,000+ feet of elevation gain, and 10+ miles on foot, this will be a challenging race. We're hoping the course isn't affected by the Tahoe wildfires.
8/18/07: Sierra Adventure Sports Extreme Heat Phoenix
A Sprint race with 15-20k of Mountain Biking and Trail Running in the Phoenix Mountain Perserve.
9/22/07: Gilmore Adventure Race - Prescott, AZ
A Scout race put on by the local scouts in Prescott, AZ. This race is a lot of fun and the real deal. Red Energy placed second the last two years in this race. Let's see if we can improve.
Bike-O course on Saturday and Blue and Black 22km O-Course on Sunday outside Globe, AZ put on by the Greater Phoenix Orienteering Club.
2/16/08: Kona 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo
24 Hour Mountain Bike event in Oracle, AZ put on by Epic Rides. Red Energy will be racing two solos and one duo team.
Two days of road riding in the area surrounding Florence, Arizona. 102 miles on Saturday and 53 miles on Sunday.
4/27/08: Tour of the Tucson Mountains
Open to all ages and abilities, the Tour offers 70 and 27-mile courses. The 70-mile event is a perimeter ride around - not over - the beautiful Tucson Mountains. Both routes begin at Marana Town Hall in Marana, AZ and are generally flat, perfect for beginning riders!
5/10/08: Desert Winds II 24 hr plus AR
The Desert Winds 2008 will be a 24 hour PLUS, non-stop adventure races in and around Lake Mead National Recreation Area; within an hour or so of Las Vegas, Nevada.
5/24/08: Coconino Dirty Century
A 100+mile endurance mountain bike race/ride that will connect singletrack and dirt roads between Flagstaff and Sedona.
6/15/08: 2008 Denver Post Ride the Rockies
435 miles through the Rocky Mountains in Colorado over 6 stages starting in Durango and ending in Breckenridge, CO.
